In 1993, Herb Anderson founded Anderson Quality Spring. He brought his 20 years of spring industry experience into a small shop with the goal of building a truly unique organization, one he would be proud to put his name on. Herb's goal was to build a business committed to the highest of ethical standards and a true spirit of customer service. He strove to create an environment that recognizes the importance of individual employees and the welfare of their families. He also wanted his business to reflect his personal "commitment to charity." This formula has produced an effective, positive, prosperous workplace.

The company has grown from that small, one-man shop to the 45 people, employed today. As sales grew, space requirements forced two moves in ten years. The company now resides in a new 35,000 sq the facility in Oregon City, Oregon. As a result of this rapid expansion, AQS is now among the fastest growing spring manufacturing companies on the West coast today.

AQS employs a manufacturing staff with years of combined experience in the spring industry, working on some of the latest and most sophisticated CNC equipment, available. The office staff includes quality, finance, customer service, production control, engineering, purchasing, and sales personnel. These key people come to our company with long histories in spring or related manufacturing industries. The manufacturing systems created by Mr. Anderson encourage creativity and empower his people to use their skills to look for and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement.
