We can work with all types and sizes of material, wire sizes from 0.004'' to in excess of 1.00'' material. Our material types include carbon steel and stainless steel spring wires and a variety of more exotic materials. We also manufacture products from aluminum and steel bar and tubing, utilizing forming and machining processes. We produce parts from a wide range of shaped wires and flat metal strip.
AQS can manufacture all designs of compression, extension, and torsion springs as well as complex wire forms. Our products include spiral torsion springs, die springs, copper coils and forms, and thermostatic bi-metal coils. We employ conventional coiling equipment as well as the most sophisticated CNC spring manufacturing machinery available. We utilize fourslide technology for small metal strip parts and stamping. We have added to our capabilities, wave spring manufacturing. We can manufacture crest-to-crest wave springs, with or without shims, in a variety of materials types and sizes. A growing market for us is our motorcycle suspension springs, for both forks and shocks.
